Fast-Track Graduate Pathway

The Fast-Track Graduate Pathway offers undergraduate students at Dominican University an expedited path toward the Master of Science in Healthcare Management program (MSHCM). The Pathway allows students with Junior standing or higher and who meet the eligibility requirements to take select graduate-level courses while completing course requirements for their undergraduate major.

The first step towards the expedited track is to apply for conditional admission into the MSHCM program. If conditionally admitted, students may register for up to six (6) semester hours of graduate-level courses (typically, one course during the fall semester and one during the spring semester) toward the MSHCM degree. Students must receive registration clearance from their academic advisor before registering for graduate courses.

The Brennan School of Business recommends that undergraduate students take these six courses

Eligible undergraduate students may choose up to two (2) graduate courses from the following list depending on the successful completion of the corresponding prerequisite course in red above:

For students who are interested in the MBA Pathway but have not taken the recommended prerequisite courses, the 0-credit foundation courses offered by the Brennan School of Business may be taken during the summer term before your senior year as a substitute.
