French and Francophone Studies Minor

The French Studies Minor offers students an awareness and appreciation of the diversity of French and Francophone cultures. This may be done through courses in the French discipline or through allied departments. 

Minor Requirements:

Eighteen (18) credits in French or French related fields. A minimum of one-half the courses in the minor field must be completed at Dominican. Students who study abroad must have prior written approval from the discipline director for their course to count toward the French and Francophone minor. Up to two courses may come from disciplines other than French. The following courses have been approved for the French minor: HIST 293  ,  HIST 294  , HIST 381  , HIST 280  , HIST 380  , INTB 280  , POSC 348 .
