BIOL 352 - Molecular and Cellular Biology Credit Hours 4 This is an advanced course in modern molecular and cellular biology. Students will explore DNA, RNA, and protein at both the theoretical and applied levels. Laboratory techniques will include DNA electrophoresis, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), DNA restriction analysis, RNA isolation and analysis, gene cloning, cell culture, and immunocytochemistry. A strong background in biology and chemistry is recommended.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 240 and either CHEM 104 or CHEM 253 .
