PSYC 394 - Neuropsychology of Language 3 hours How do we acquire language when growing up? What changes in the brain when we learn to read? When in life are we best able to learn a new language? This course covers the cognitive psychology and neuroscience behind verbal and written language. Topics include typical language development, developmental and acquired language disorders, reading, bilingualism, and more.
