LS 335 - Social Justice 3 hours As a Sinsinawa Dominican-sponsored institution, Dominican University proclaims an “enduring commitment to social justice,” which can be thought of as a commitment to economic equality, human rights and human dignity. This course will examine the theological roots of social justice in Catholic social teaching, as well as the secular grounding from philosophers like John Rawls. This course seeks to answer two key questions: what does a just society look like, and how do we get there?
