LAS 458 - Celebrities, Heroes, Prophets, Leaders, Saints, Witnesses, and You 3 hours Aristotle saw virtue as a habit, developed through practice. This seminar asks students to address the question of their role in how virtues and values are modeled and shaped in today’s society. It will explore the behavioral context underlying the development of habits of virtue, discuss leadership theory as it relates to the common good, and use readings from literature and excerpts from film as a basis for further reflection on those discussions.
