Program Requirements:

This program is designed for Dominican undergraduate students who wish to complete courses for elementary or secondary licensure as part of the Master of Arts in Teaching program. The program is designed to be completed in five and one-half to six years. During the undergraduate program, the candidate completes all course work required for the undergraduate degree and then takes graduate education courses toward licensure. In some cases, candidates may begin to take graduate education courses during their senior year of undergraduate studies. Students who wish to select this program must apply for the program in their junior year of undergraduate studies. For more information, see the division chairperson for initial licensure.
