The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management is designed for students interested in the intersection of business and health care. This interdisciplinary program prepares students to lead and manage in a variety of health care settings by combining foundational business knowledge with specialized coursework in health care systems, finance, marketing, and informatics. The B.S. in Healthcare Management is an excellent choice for students seeking careers in hospital administration, health services management, or public health leadership.

Major Requirements
Sixty-one (61) semester credit hours, including: Brennan Business Core (8 Courses, 24 credit hours)
Brennan Business Practicums (2 courses, 6 credit hours)
Select one course from the following: Healthcare Management Major Coursework (27-28 credit hours)
Required Courses
Take all three courses (10 credit hours): Natural Science Requirement (12 semester hours)
Students must complete at least 12 additional credit hours from the following approved natural science courses. Additional Requirements
A minimum of one-half of the credit hours in the major must be completed at Dominican. Advising Notes: Students interested in graduate study in health administration, public health, or related fields are encouraged to consult with their advisor early to select electives that align with their career goals. |
