Fashion Merchandising - B.A.

Location(s): River Forest Campus


The Fashion Merchandising major blends creative thinking with business strategy, preparing students to build and communicate strong fashion and lifestyle brands. Students learn how to understand consumers, develop product direction, and create meaningful brand experiences across both physical and digital spaces.

Coursework supports a range of career paths in buying, brand development, visual and experiential merchandising, and digital marketing. The program emphasizes both aesthetics and strategy, helping students turn creative ideas into clear, effective market solutions.

Some fashion courses are offered every other year. Fashion majors should consult their advisors for a suggested course schedule for the major.

A minimum of 18 semester hours in the major field must be completed at Dominican.
