The MBA/MSIM an ideal choice if you seek a career in technology management.
The Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) degree from the School of Information Studies combined with the Dominican University Brennan School of Business Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree will provide a solid foundation of technical and managerial expertise that will equip business professionals to lead their organization’s strategic uses of information technology in a fast-changing business and technology environment. The program’s concurrent nature also allows students to develop and integrate their technology and management skills.
The combined MBA/MSIM degree program is not open to students who have already earned a master’s degree in the field of business administration or information management. Students may apply for admission to the combined degree program at any time while they are enrolled in either program. No advance assurance can be given that such admission will be granted. Degree Requirements
Students must satisfy the requirements of both the MBA degree and the MSIM degree. See full degree requirements here:
The MBA program will accept 6 semester hours taken from courses in the School of Information Studies as credits in the MBA program. Reciprocally, the School of Information Studies will accept 6 semester hours taken from courses within the MBA program. Requirements for the combined degree must be completed within six years.
