Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution

Return to: Professional and Continuing Studies Programs of the College of Applied Social Sciences
The MA in Mediation and Conflict Resolution is offered in a convenient low-residency format. Students will complete two five-day intensive courses on campus, preferably a year apart, with the remaining courses completed online. This provides the best of both worlds: face-to-face interaction with faculty and peers with the flexibility and convenience of online learning.
Students may pursue a graduate certificate in Conflict Resolution (12 hours) alone, or pursue the degree after completion of the certificate. MCR 601 is required for the certificate, followed by 3 additional MCR courses of the student’s choice. If an undergraduate student from the BPS program wishes to pursue a certificate in Conflict Resolution, at least two graduate courses must be taken at the graduate level once accepted as a non-degree seeking student.
