French & Francophone Studies has three learning outcomes: 1) an understanding and command of the linguistic structures of the French language that enable students to use it correctly and fluently in speech and in writing; 2) an awareness and appreciation of the diversity of French and Francophone cultures; 3) a familiarity with and ability to critically analyze the literary production of the French and Francophone world.
