LIS 745 - Searching Electronic Databases

3 hours
Advanced study of the principles, concepts and skills needed in reference and information services in order to help answer users information queries by searching electronically accessible databases. An overview of existing and state-of-the-art information systems, and the development of appropriate search strategies. Offered in fall, spring, and summer.

Prerequisite(s): LIS 701, 703, 704
