GSB 709 - Special Topics in Financial Reporting3 hours
The course will examine emerging topics in the accounting profession with a particular focus on accounting standards under development or recently adopted and the status of the convergence process. The course will explore accounting information systems including XBRL reporting and selected accounting applications of a complex nature. The course will provide a review of governmental and non-profit accounting.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: GSB 612 or 12 hours in undergraduate accounting coursework in advance of the 200 level (including auditing) or consent.
