CAS 373 - Film Comedy3 hours
This course is an overview of film comedy beginning with silent clowns like Charlie Chaplin through the sound pictures of the Marx Brothers and ending with a look at contemporary black and female performers. Discussion will include the unique aspects of film comedy, political implications, bromance, the use of obsenity, parody, and other topics.
