3hoursStudy of the theory and practice of graphic design as a social action. Students will read literary and nonliterary texts aimed at social transformation; meet with local social service organizations to study their mission, activities, and needs; and work in collaboration with students from ENGL 335 to develop materials needed to promote and raise funds for one or more of these organizations. This course requires off-campus service hours.
Prerequisite(s):ART 208, ART 240 and sophomore standing.
