CAS 322 - Intercultural Communication: Globalization and Social Justice3 hours The course introduces students to the complex relationships, structures, and context that shape intercultural communication in this new millennium. The course examines intercultural communication within the geopolitical, economic, and cultural context of globalization and offers a dynamic and complex understanding of culture that addresses the many challenges we face today—from discrimination, racial profiling, and ethnic conflict to local and global wealth disparities. The course takes a social justice approach and provides a framework to create a more just and humane world through communication. CC
