HIST 332 - The Social World of the Renaissance3 hours This course studies the interaction between social, economic, and political change in Italy and Renaissance Europe and the intellectual and artistic movements of the Renaissance. The course will also consider the intellectual history of the early Northern European Renaissance in its very different socio-economic and political setting.
This course may be applied to the European history concentration.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102 or departmental consent.
This course will satisfy the history core area requirement.
