HIST 275 - Medieval and Renaissance Europe3 hours This course offers an overview of the political, religious, cultural, social, and economic history of medieval and Renaissance Europe from the decline of Roman authority in the West to the Peace of Augsburg (1555 C.E.). The class also provides an introduction to the many disciplines from which scholars study the past. It is the core class for the medieval and Renaissance studies minor.
This course may be applied to the European history concentration.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102 or consent of department.
This course will satisfy the history core area requirement.
