CAS 219 - The Road in American Culture3 hours This course will focus on how road travel has been represented in the American cinema. The aim of the course is to understand what the road signifies in American culture and its relationship to concepts of freedom and individuality. Films include: Easy Rider, Thelma and Louise, and Drugstore Cowboy.

This course will satisfy the fine arts core area requirement.
