BIOL 492 - Histology3 hours Histology is the study of microscopic anatomy dealing with the structures of cells, tissues and organs in relation to their function. The course deals with the four basic tissue types: epithelium; connective tissues, including blood, bone and cartilage; muscles and nerves. It also covers the basic functions of these structures.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 152 - 252 or BIOL 351 ; post-baccalaureate students only.
