THEA 257 - Group Performance of Literature3 hours Working with various forms of literature, students will be introduced to methods for adapting these for performance. Additional focus on techniques for developing performance skills include storytelling, improvisation, and characterization. Students will develop a repertoire of pieces by working on collaborative projects and will participate in a final, public performance of selected projects. The course requires some rehearsal outside of class.
This course will satisfy the fine arts core area requirement.
