                  POSC 295 - Politics and Environment3 hours   Federal control of environmental issues has been replaced by a new phenomenon: civic environmentalism, or cooperation between the private and the public sectors–businesses and nonprofit groups, local, state, and federal governments. Students will use an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to a local area or issue in order to explore this developing field.
