HIST 222 - Building a Nation: The U.S. From Revolution to Reconstruction3 hours This course examines the tremendous changes the young United States experienced in its first century as a nation. We will explore topics such as the American Revolution, the market revolution, westward expansion, civil war, immigration, urbanization and middle-class family life from the end of the colonial era to the late 19th century.
This course may be applied to the United States history concentration.
