EDUC 386 - Education in a Diverse Society3 hours This course asks candidates to examine the challenges and opportunities of teaching in a diverse society. The central aspects of diversity are examined as they affect students in grades K-12. Candidates create instructional teaching units adapted to diverse learners. Twenty-five field experience hours are required.
Prerequisite(s): EDUC 200 , EDUC 310 , EDUC 320 , and acceptance into the Teacher Education Program.
This course will satisfy the multicultural core requirement.
