ITAL 100 - Introduction to Italian Civilization 3 Credit Hours
This course will focus on the major periods of historical development of modern Italy. We will begin with a study of the geography of Italy as background for understanding the country’s political reality. We will then study the major periods of development: Classical Rome, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, Unification and the Modern Era. This course is taught in English. This course will not count for the Barbantini Scholarship or the LOTE requirement.
