LAS 250 - Environmental Crisis in Africa 3 Credit Hours
Through a multidisciplinary perspective this sophomore seminar will examine some of the most challenging environmental crises in Africa today. Topics will include climate change, deforestation, desertification, water and industrial pollution, overpopulation, and overhunting. No prior knowledge of Africa will be required before enrollment.
Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in social justice and sustainability
