CAS 252 - Communication History and Ethics 3 Credit Hours This course examines human communication from the beginnings of speech and writing through the development of modern media - newspapers, magazines, broadcasting, and the Internet. Students will learn how people have harnessed and explained communication over time, starting with the rhetoricians of classic Greece and Rome. Students also will consider the ethical dimension of communication, largely through case studies of complex, real-world situations
