HNSM 462 - Knowing in Our World 3 Credit Hours Any seminar that attempts to draw conclusions must also invite new beginnings so as we study King Lear, Job, and Like Water for Chocolate, we will examine how our understanding of these texts informs how we think, why we think the way we do, and how best to prepare for our future. Your Honors portfolio is a concrete expression of how your understanding of the world has been influenced by university, but we will also explore other ways of understanding our selves in context with our cultures. One method to do this is to employ a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) component into the class - this means we will collaborate on a project with students from other parts of the world.
Prerequisite(s): Senior status and admission to the honors program.
