PHIL 236 - Blacks in Latin America: Philosophy and Culture

3 Credit Hours
This course examines, among other things, how Africa and Europe came together to create the rich cultures of Latin America and the Caribbean. Latin America is often associated with music, monuments, and sun, but each of the six countries to be studied here - Haiti, Dominica, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, and Peru - has shrouded, veiled or esoteric-type of philosophy.
