ITAL 309 - Perspectives on Sicily: Island of Intersections 3 Credit Hours In this course, students will explore the many dimensions of the island of Sicily through the literature, history, and art that define its many populations and dominations. Students will refine written and spoken proficiencies in Italian through reading, discussions, and research that will span a variety of resources including short stories, film, and current events. This course is taught in Italian.
Prerequisite(s): ITAL 202 or consent of instructor.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in language other than English.
This course will satisfy the core requirement in advanced CRWS.
