EDUA 564 - General Methods of Teaching and Assessing in ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science Middle and Secondary Level

3 Credit Hours
In this course, we will focus directly on teachers and their roles and responsibilities in the classroom. The purpose of this course is to further explore the role of the teacher. Participants will focus on: adolescent development; classroom culture/environment; general content methods of teaching English language arts, math, and science classrooms; long/short-term planning. This course will address academic methods and assessments for students across the four discipline areas, grade levels 5-12.
