CHEM 298 - Research Methods in Chemistry 4 Credit Hours An introduction to research methods in the chemical sciences. Experimental design, execution of appropriate laboratory techniques, and interpretation of experimental results will be emphasized. Students will engage in searching and reading scientific literature. Students will perform specific lab techniques that complement and extend those techniques presented in the general chemistry curriculum. Scientific writing and oral presentation skills will also be implemented. Lecture and laboratory.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 121 or consent of instructor.
