BWS 231 - Conflicts and Conflict Resolution in Africa 3 Credit Hours The primary purpose of the course is to sharpen student’s analytical and critical thinking skills in comprehending the complex challenges of conflict and conflict resolution in Africa. Students will understand the historical causes of African conflicts, the nexus between conflict, democracy, and development, as well as the role of women in the crucial task of conflict mediation, management, and transformation in the continent.
