SWK 551 - Social Work Practicum II

3 Credit Hours
This is the second part of a yearlong seminar required of all first-year MSW students completing a social work internship. The course combines lecture, discussion, and personal reflection in a small-group format as means for students to integrate practice theory with practice experience. This course continues the student’s journey to becoming a professional social worker through skill development and use of self-examination and reflection as means to explore the practical and ethical skills needed for social work practice in a globally focused, family-centered framework.
