MATH 340 - Mathematical Modeling 3 Credit Hours An introduction to the development and analysis of deterministic and probabilistic models. Includes curve fitting, simulations, difference and differential equations. Applications from ecology, environmental science, economics, and other fields.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 262 with C or better, and sophomore standing or higher.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in quantitative literacy.
