SWG 200 - Introduction to the Study of Women and Gender 3 Credit Hours
This class is an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of the study of women and gender. Class participants will explore intersectional and transgendered approaches and consider feminist viewpoints, theories, histories, issues, critiques and practices. The course focuses on gendered experiences and histories from diverse US perspectives and places emphases on multiple standpoints and experiences.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in social justice and sustainability.
This course will satisfy the core requirement in multicultural studies.
