SOC 350 - Gender and Development 3 Credit Hours The purpose of this course is to examine the changing roles, statuses, opportunities, and options for CIS & Trans women & femmes living in developing countries in the Global South. The different ways social institutions such as gender, race/ ethnicity, class, sexuality, religion, culture and age shape the lives of women/femmes/transgender around the world will be explored.
