3Credit HoursAn examination of cities as structures of life in society and urbanization as a process of social change. Consideration will be given to patterns of residence including segregation and hyper segregation; group interaction; family and neighborhood relations; work, leisure and technology and the role of gentrification.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in social sciences or science literacy.
