MATH 211 - Principles of Statistics 3 Credit Hours Design of experiments, numerical and graphical data description, discrete and continuous probability, expected value and variance of a random variable, probability distributions, estimation, and statistical hypothesis testing.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 130 or MATH 170 or consent of instructor.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in quantitative literacy.
