FASH 445 - Collection Design 3 Credit Hours
Is the distinctive event in a senior designer’s educational experience when he/she/they will illustrate, pattern, stitch, fit live models, and material source a four-piece maverick collection. In this first-level senior collection course, collections are critiqued and evaluated by the instructor and a panel of local fashion experts for creative vision, engineering skills, aesthetic, and design philosophy. Producing conceptual and ready-to-wear collections, designer visions steer the creative approach to this courseFashion forecasting; development of a cohesive collection of original designs.
Prerequisite(s): FASH 270 and senior standing.
