ITAL 504 - Italian Cinema 3 Credit Hours This course will study the development and evolution of Italian cinema after World War II to the present. Instrumental to this study is a survey of Italian film directors such as Federico Fellini, Roberto Rossellini, Vittorio De Sica, and Giuseppe Tornatore. Critical to this period are the films of Neorealism that emerge in the post war-period and significantly shape modern cinema.
Prerequisite(s): Registration requires consent of department. For graduate level students only.
