ITAL 284 - Galileo 1.5 Credit Hours
Galileo and his research mark the beginning of modern science and thinking. Throughout his life he struggled to express his ideas to a skeptical society. We will examine his dialogues as expressions of his ideas and thoughts of the times. Course taught in English. This course will not fulfill Barbantini Family Scholarship course requirements.
Prerequisite(s): 15 college credit hours or consent of instructor.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in literature if taken with another 1.5 credit course.
