LAS 145 - Making Your Way: The Examined Life 3 Credit Hours In this course, students will have the opportunity to explore who they are now, who they want to become, and how their four years at Dominican can help them get there. This course will utilize a number of different tools and experiential learning activities to help solve these questions. Students will utilize the CliftonStrengths assessment to assist in understanding their natural talents and students will engage in information interviews to help them understand various of professional opportunities. Through dialogue, experiential learning activities, and some research, students will plan for post-graduation success. All first-year seminars include a first-year experience component, which provides support for students as they transition to Dominican University.
