THEO 243 - Ethics and Literature 3 Credit Hours Literature documents the stories of what it means to be human, while ethics explores how to live a fulfilled life. This course will examine how an ethics-focused approach to literature will help us to understand ways to live in healthy relationships with nature, with those around us, and with our entire global community. We will address religious and non-religious literary texts from diverse voices through the lenses of various ethical theories.
This course will satisfy the core area requirement in theology.
