LIS 753 - Internet Fundamentals and Design 3 Credit Hours An introduction to the fundamentals of the Internet, including its origins, evolution, architecture, current issues, and future. Students will gain a basic understanding of Web content languages, Web site management, and design/usability principles. Critical Internet Issues such as security, privacy, copyright, and governance will be discussed within the context of library and information services.
Prerequisite(s): LIS 701 or concurrent enrollment.
