INF 240 - Community Informatics 4 Credit Hours Community informatics is broadly defined as the use and application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in local communities, specifically how social, cultural, political, and economic factors influence the adoption and use of ICTs among members of specific communities. This course introduces students to digital divide issues and the role of ICTs in cultural heritage and community development.
