ENGL 211 - Introduction to Creative Writing

3 Credit Hours
Study of the fundamentals of good writing in a variety of literary genres - poetry, fiction, drama, and creative non-fiction. Analysis of the work of professionals and students. Short critical and creative pieces in multiple genres are required.

Prerequisite(s):  (or corequisites) ENGL 266  or ENGL 268  or consent of instructor.

This course will satisfy the core area requirement in literature.
