BIOL 352 - Molecular and Cellular Biology 4 Credit Hours This course focuses on advanced molecular and cellular biology topics that includes DNA replication, transcription, protein synthesis, gene regulation and genomics. The laboratory portion of the course explores DNA and RNA isolation/electrophoresis, PCR amplification, gene manipulation/cloning, cell culture, sequencing, and bioinformatics. A strong background in biology and chemistry is recommended.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 240 and either CHEM 104 or CHEM 253 .
