PSYC 315 - Qualitative Practices in Advanced Developmental Psychology 3 Credit Hours Can understanding cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral changes in children, adolescents and adults over time help psychologists become stronger practitioners? In this course, students will learn how to conduct hands-on, Piaget style interviews and observations with children and adolescents, code qualitative transcripts, and evaluate how developmental psychology can inform research, practice, and policy.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 290 and one introductory developmental course (PSYC 215 or PSYC 220 or PSYC 225 ).
